The ACADEMIA Office Building continues its success story with nearly full office occupancy, BREEAM Excellent and WELL Platinum and Gold certifications.

The ACADEMIA Office Building, developed by ConvergenCE, is now operating at nearly full occupancy, offering a premium working environment in the heart of Budapest, surrounded by historic architecture. Both the modern and heritage wings of the property have now achieved WELL Core™ certification: the modern wing holds Platinum, while the renovated heritage wing has recently obtained Gold. In addition, the entire development has been awarded a BREEAM “Excellent” rating, further underlining its commitment to people-centric and sustainable operations.

“We reached almost full occupancy within just a year and a half, and our tenants are long-term, financially stable companies,” said Csaba Zeley, Managing Director of ConvergenCE, highlighting that ACADEMIA has proven to be a crisis-resilient investment.

The tenant community includes such renowned companies as Kinstellar, SAAB, Arago, Roland Berger, and Shapr3D. The latter significantly expanded during the summer and now occupies 2,800 square metres, making it the building’s largest tenant.

“The inspiring environment strongly supports our ‘office first’ approach and fosters creativity,” added Dominika Haag, Senior Office Manager at Shapr3D.

New arrivals include the NATARA Group, one of Hungary’s largest viticulture and winemaking companies, which will move in this autumn. Their bespoke office is being designed by MádiLáncos Studio, carefully tailored to match the character of the building. Meanwhile, SAAB has expanded its existing lease by an additional 825 square metres over the summer.

At present, only one exclusive 400 m² office space remains available at ACADEMIA, which has already generated strong interest. The support of the investor-owner, Europa Fund, has also played a key role in this success – ensuring that the ACADEMIA success story continues.
