One of Hungary’s leading boutique real estate development, investment and asset management firms is relocating to ZenGarden Office Building. After a €2.5 million refurbishment, the 9,500 square meter building has earned the prestigious BREEAM environmental certification.

Founded in 2004, ConvergenCE boasts a nearly two-decade success story, built on partnerships driven by mutual interests and commitment to continuous improvement. With vast experience as an investor and developer, they have already revitalized over 200,000 square meters of office, commercial, and industrial properties.

After acquiring and renovating the CBC office building in 2019, it has been transformed with a new name and image. The revamped ZenGarden prioritizes indoor gardens, energy efficiency, and tenant focused design. The distinctive rock garden, adorned with bamboo, diverse plants and trees, adds a touch of uniqueness. Additionally, amenities like the pétanque court, shaded terrace with sun sails and lounge areas provide extra spaces for relaxation and rejuvenation.

“Our cooperation with ConvergenCE has been very active the past few years, so we were delighted when Dóra Papp-Vas asked BuildEXT to design their own office. The panoramic view over the city is an excellent feature of the office space, which we tried to highlight in the design of the new office. Among other design elements, we created separated spaces with glass walls, so we solved the functional challenges and the view at the same time as a highlight of the interior space.” Baktay Andrea, Head of Internal design at BuildExt.

Csaba Zeley, Managing Director of ConvergenCE, shared the reasoning behind the move, stating, “Having our own office in a building that we operate has always been crucial to us.” He emphasized the renewed ZenGarden Office Building’s unparalleled environment, offering optimal working conditions and utmost comfort for their employees. “Customer satisfaction remains a top priority and the convenient accessibility from all parts of the city, sports facilities, nearby service providers and diverse amenities empower them to continue delivering the best services to their trusted clients.”
